The Alfa Laval LKUV-2 is a reliable, automatic air relief valve designed to release excess air from process pipelines or pumps, preventing cavitation, product loss, and the negative effects of air entrainment. Installed vertically, it is ideal for applications where air removal is essential to maintain design pressure conditions—such as at the top of a pipeline or at the pump inlet on the suction side to eliminate air before starting the pump. It is typically used in Cleaning-in-Place return line (CIP-R) applications.

Elastomer seals: EPDM, FPM, or NBR for hygienic and durable performance

ATEX Classification: II 2 G D1 – suitable for installation in explosive atmospheres, without CE marking (no ignition source).
