These corrosion-resistant, easy-to-weld hygienic tubes DIN EN 10357-A are ideal for food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. They are also widely used in hospital settings due to their high quality, which helps maintain hygiene and prevent contamination in sensitive production processes.
The tubes are made of 1.4301 (304), 1.4307 (304L) or 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel. The 304L and 316L stainless steels tubes offer better welding properties compare to those made of AISI 304 and 316.
DIN EN 10357-A tubes Finish Options:
- CC: Unannealed, pickled, and passivated inside and outside. The inner surface roughness (Ra) is < 0.8 µm, and the weld seam Ra is < 1.6 µm.
- CD: Unannealed, pickled, and passivated inside, polished outside. The inner surface Ra is < 0.8 µm, the weld seam Ra is < 1.6 µm, and the outer surface Ra is < 1.0 µm.
- BC: Annealed, pickled, or bright annealed inside and outside. The inner surface Ra is < 0.8 µm, and the weld seam Ra is < 1.6 µm.
- BD: Annealed, pickled, or bright annealed inside, polished outside. The inner surface Ra is < 0.8 µm, the weld seam Ra is < 1.6 µm, and the outer surface Ra is < 1.0 µm
DIN 11850 and EN 10357 tube standards
DIN EN 10357 is new European standard for hygienic tubes, that replaced DIN 11850 standard, also known as food tubes standards.
Note: EN10357-A stainless steel tubes have the same dimensions as DIN 11850 Reuche 2 hygienic tube standard and DIN 11866-A aseptic tube standard , that have been withdrawn and replaced in 2013. During the tube selection, please consider that DIN 11866 nominal size does not always correspond to inner diameter (ID). For example, DN15 has ID=16mm, DN25 has ID=26mm ect.
