ASME BPE Fittings - UltraPure Tri-Clover Alfa Laval

The UltraPure Tri-Clover Alfa Laval product range includes a comprehensive selection of ASME BPE stainless steel fittings (316 L) that are designed with sterility and cleanability in mind, in order to prevent microbial growth and cross-contaminations. They are ideal for use in bio-pharmaceutical and food processing industries.

All stainless steel ASME BPE fittings have end caps and are individually packed in sealed transparent bags.

Surface finishing of ASME BPE Fitting

Alfa Laval BPE fittings have the following surface designations:

• SF1: Mechanically polished (MP) with internal surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.4 µm (20 µin).
• SF4: Electropolished (EP) with internal surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.5 µm (15 µin).

Material Identification and Traceability

In order to allow complete traceability of all component material back to the original material supplier, all ASME BPE fittings are marked with laser. Labels contain the following information: 

• ASME Certification Mark with BPE designator
• Surface designation SF1 / SF4 
• Dimensions
• Material identification number
• Heat number.
