The Alfa Laval SB Self-Cleaning CO₂ valve is designed for hygienic and precise CO₂ injection in beer, beverage, and food processing applications. This combined gas escape/supply valve allows tanks to be vented or pressurized while minimizing gas consumption. Its automatic self-cleaning function, using CO2 flow, ensures full CIP/SIP integration, reducing downtime and preventing contamination.

Installation
This CO2 valve is typically positioned as an integrated part of the gas/CIP pipe at the tank top plate. For optimal performance, the valve should be installed in a vertical position, but it can be mounted at an angle of up to 45° if required. It is also fully compatible with SCANDI BREW® tank top systems, ensuring easy integration in brewery and beverage tanks.
